Broome
Day 2
9.00am this morning we travel the one hour drive to the Willie Creek Pearl Farm for a two hour tour of this unique farming operation. On our return to Broome we have the rest of the day free in Broome, do as you wish. You can shop for the famous Broome Pearls or just laze around the pool at you Hotel Resort. (This is what we do in Broome).

Broome to Fitzroy Crossing
Day 3
Today we travel to Fitzroy Crossing via the old port town of Derby. You will see the famous Boab Prison Tree and the world’s longest cattle drinking trough. We travel on along the Gibb River road to Windjana Gorge and the interesting Tunnel Creek. The adventure continues on gravel station roads to Great Northern Highway, through Boab Country and spectacular ranges. On arrival at Fitzroy Crossing we book into the Fitzroy River Lodge.

Fitzroy Crossing to Halls Creek
Day 4
This morning we travel the short distance to the ancient Geikie Gorge to do the river cruise. After the cruise we head east along Great Northern Highway through cattle country to Halls Creek. We will stop in this wilderness for lunch by the roadside.

Halls Creek to Kununurra
Day 5
7.00am departure this morning as we drive to Kununurra. We drive through cattle country to Turkey Creek. On to Wyndam and the Bastion for the spectacular view of Cambridge Gulf and the meeting of the five rivers. Lunch will be atop the Bastion. From Wyndam we head south to Kununurra, our stay for the next 2 nights.

Kununurra to Kununurra
Day 6
This morning we do a flight of a lifetime with a 6.00am departure by light aircraft to fly over Argyle Dam and the famous Bungle Bungles. On your return 2 hours later you board one of the most spectacular river cruises in Australian, up the Ord River to the Ord River Dam. This trip will take all morning and ends at the base of the Dam Wall. We will have lunch in a beautiful park at this location. (An oasis in the desert).In the afternoon we will visit the famous Zebra Rock Gallery, Hidden Valley, Ivanhoe Crossing and the irrigation area.

Day 7
Today we enter the Northern Territory as we head east and travel on to the Northern Territory, Western Australia border and then on through the beautiful desert country towards Katherine.
We will travel through Gregory National Park, the Victoria River and maybe see a crocodile or two.

Katherine to Kakadu
Day 8
After breakfast we proceed northeast into the world famous Kakadu National Park. We will do a wildlife cruise on Yellow Waters Lagoon, and see Crocodiles and spectacular Birds. After the cruise we will have lunch in the Gagudju Hotel grounds.
We visit the rock paintings at Nourlangie Rock and the town of Jabiru.

Kakadu to Darwin
Day 9
This morning we head towards Darwin stopping for morning tea at Bark Hut. On to Frog Dam (wildlife sanctuary) and into Darwin, the Capital of the Northern Territory. After a short Tour of the City we book into your Hotel. You will have the opportunity to find your own lunch in the city today and have free time to explore.

Day 10
We travel south out of Darwin today to visit Litchfield National Park to see its magnificent water falls and wilderness. On the way back we visit the Territory Wildlife Park a good spot for lunch, (own expense). After a tour through the park we return to Darwin for free time in the afternoon for shopping. This evening Dinner is at your expense, but the coach will be going to Stokes Wharf for its famous seafood meals, if you wish to come along, feel free.
